We are pleased to present a grant to LaSalle University for financial support to the La Salle University Neighborhood Nursing Center (LSNNC) for the 2018-2019 year. The Neighborhood Nursing Center, located at the corner of Chew and Wisteria Avenues, Philadelphia, PA, contributes to caring for the needs of uninsured and underinsured individuals in the community. Student interns, led by a full-time nurse, participate in local health fairs, offer free immunization and screening programs, and provide resources and referrals to connect adults, families and senior citizens with vital health services. All services are provided to the public free of charge. The grant from Quest for the Best will allow the Nursing Center to purchase new equipment and necessary supplies that will allow staff to enhance the quality of services to the clients they serve.
