Eye Care for Kids, a tax-exempt organization located in Midvale, Utah, delivers professional eye care at minimal or no cost to families in multiple locations in the United States who are uninsured, under-insured or simply can’t afford the high cost of a clinic visit or prescription glasses. Quest for the Best is excited to offer support to Eye Care for Kids by providing funds to purchase eye glasses which will be used in their first international eye care clinic. This new facility will be located at the Kalimoni Mission Hospital in Ruiru, the sixth largest urban center in Kenya. Vision impairment and blindness place a tremendous social and economic burden on societies, and Eye Care for Kids will provide comprehensive pre-screening to determine if chronic visual problems exist and deliver appropriate treatment.
