Hopecam (www.hopecam.org) supplies tablet computers and other forms of technology to children undergoing cancer treatment. When a child is treated for cancer, their immune system can be suppressed and the treatments can cause extreme fatigue making it impossible for the child to go to school or visit with friends. Technology can allow these children to remain connected to their classmates and school, and allow them to continue to learn and laugh with their friends. To date, Hopecam has provided assistance to over 2,000 children, and our grant will assist them in supporting even more.
