Black Light Projects, was created to provide a formal way of collecting historical information and documenting the impact  that Phoenixville, Pennsylvania’s African American Residents have made on the community.  The organization spotlights the enrichment provided by sports and political heroes, the places which significantly changed our culture, and the organizations that mold and uplift our youth.  Black Light Projects came to QFTB requesting assistance with creating a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation, establishing the policies and procedure structure of the new corporation and filing for tax-exempt status for the organization.  We are happy to congratulate Black Light Projects in recently receiving tax exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service and look forward to watching this new nonprofit organization grow in our community!
