Phoenixville Women’s Outreach, provides transitional housing and affordable housing in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania to help women break the cycle of dependence and poverty. Since 2014, the organization has provided these services at The House which is a place where women can take time to heal, obtain assistance in finding employment, restore financial stability, and receive help in finding permanent housing. When the women are ready to leave, finding affordable housing is a major obstacle in the community. To assist in this process, the organization has recently purchased The Next Step House to offer an affordable renting option for women to showcase their self-sufficiency upon leaving the transition house. Quest for the Best is pleased to announce our support to Phoenixville Women’s Outreach by awarding a grant to assist in the purchase of the Next Step House. Both of these facilities offer a home and support for women who are seeking to rebuild their lives and achieve independent living. This new housing option allows women to live more independently, while remaining close to their system of support.
