Quest for the Best chose to make donations to organizations that offer long-term residential services to those with substance use disorders. We provided funds to Harwood House, Good Friends and Libertae. Harwood House, located in Upper Darby, is a community-based program that empowers individuals to acquire and improve skills necessary to thrive in a stable, substance free atmosphere within the community. Good Friends in Bucks County, is a residential treatment program for individuals with substance use disorders, including those with a co-occurring psychiatric disorder. They offer services to promote the physical, spiritual and emotional health of the men they serve. Finally, Bensalem’s Libertae is a treatment program supporting women. Children are welcomed with their mothers, and Libertae offers gender-informed treatment. Please reach out to these organizations if you know someone who needs help, or offer your support as well!
